Tom Gavin begins chemotherapy on Wed., Dec. 3. We pray that he will find the treatements tolerable and that they will be successful in treating the cancer.

Urgent prayer request for Tom Gavin. Tom went to the ER of Friday, 11/21 with extreme abdominal pain. They discovered a blood clot in the Portal Vein from the Liver. The tumor he has in his liver is constricing the flow in the vein and it formed a clot. They have him admitted and are administering blood thinners to break up the clot. We pray that the clot can be cleared out.

Thank you for all your prayers. The surgeon did 6 bypasses on Mike's dad. He said the roughest part was getting the artery from his leg to do the bypass. (Al has diabetes, poor circulation in his legs and he's prone to foot infections.) He will be in critical care for a few days but the doctor is happy with the way his heart is pumping. There is still some concern as far as the blood flow though because he was previously on Plavix so they will be monitoring that closely and hoping for no bleeds.

Please put Tom Gavin on your prayer lists. Tom and Peggy are members of the LNW community. A mass was found on Tom’s liver and he will be going in for a biopsy on Friday. Let us all pray that it is non-cancerous. They found this mass because Tom has been suffering with unusual bowl pain. They don’t know if this is related or not. If not, they still have to determine the source of this pain that prevents Tom from sleeping. Please keep their whole family in your prayers.

Please pray for our son Paul, his wife Jodi, and their unborn daughter Sonya Adel. Sonya is only 1.5 pounds and at 28 weeks of pregnancy Jodi has been hospitalized with reduced blood flow thru the umbilical cord. Sonya may have to be delivered too early. With God all things are possible and I ask you to join me in praying for the miracle of life for Sonya. I His name we ask this.

To All Prayer Warriors: we need prayers for our grandson Jay; he is 12 and has already had a screw put into his hip due to 2cm fracture in the growth plate. That was last December and now has to undergo 3 more surgies. A hip replacement, a screw in opposite knee to stop growth so shorter leg can catch up and finally some reconstruction of his foot;it is crooked and is now flat, no arch at all with some sort of a bone growth sticking out the side. Please pray with us for God to guide the surgeons hands and for His strength to help Jay get through all the rehab that will be necessary. Also for God to send an Angel to help Jay during the 6 weeks after surgery while he recovers at home on crutches. Lord Hear our prayer

Thank you for your continued prayerful support. Phil is home after 11 days in the Un. of Chicago Hospital, safe and sound with no findings on the tests to determine the cause of the internal bleeding. It is still a mystery -- but that's o.k. since all the tests showed he IS o.k. You are powerful pray-ers. THANK YOU, GOD!!!
